Reiki is Universal Life Force Energy; "Rei" means "Universal," "Ki," means Vital Life Force. Kat defines Reiki energy as the energy that makes the heart beat and the lungs breathe. A Reiki treatmentis the hands-on channeling of Reiki energy or life force into the body. Aurora Bio-Energetics (TM), is a combination of talk/counseling and hands-on work that grew out of Kat's twenty-five years of experience as a healer. Aurora Bio-Energetics (TM) consciously connects the blocks in the body's flow of energy to trapped feeling and facilitates release and transformation.
Kat is a gifted healer, a bio-energetic therapist who works energetically with the light of the soul and the shadow of the psyche. Underlying all dis-ease, but not necessarily the cause, is a lack of communication and denial that exists between these two sides of being. The result is an unhealthy (you are the enemy) rather than a healthy (we are each other's complement) opposition. One unhealthy opposition gives rise to another, then another, and so on and so on wreaking havoc on the immune system, one's psychological well-being, and the emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies. Kat uncovers the hidden wires of communication, that once connected light and shadow; she re-connects one to the other and the split within, body, mind, and spirit, is bridged.
